The Sun

November 2023

This piece explores the internal battle between light and darkness, embodying the weight of hidden struggles and secrets. The areas untouched by light represent the shadows we carry within—those unspoken parts of ourselves that can feel overwhelming and suffocating. The central figure's posture captures a moment of vulnerability, questioning whether revealing these inner demons would change how others perceive us. The quote, "If I told you about the darkness inside me, would you still look at me like I'm the sun?" echoes this fear, highlighting the tension between our outward image and inner reality. This artwork is a powerful reflection on the fear of judgment and the yearning for acceptance, even in our darkest moments.
